I'm running phpDev on my Win2K machine. I have downloaded a backup of my forums (vB) from my site and was wondering if there's an easy way to import it into my db on my local machine. I can't do it using phpmyadmin as it times out. I thought I would be able to copy the file into the mysql/data/vbulletin folder, but that contains loads of different types of files. My backup is approx 9Mb.
Anyone know of any ways I can do this?Try copying mysqldump.exe and mysql.exe to %SYSTEMROOT%system32 (usually C:Windowssystem32 or C:WINNTsystem32) then you can use them as commands ;)From the DOS command line you can use the same command as in Step 3 here:

Thanks a million for your help with this :)#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
