can't parse .rar files anymore ?

Hello

I've just installed the new XBMC (XBMC-SVN 2007-10-28 rev10638 T3CH), and noticed that I can't parse .rar files throught SMB shares anymore.

Is there a special setting that I have to fix ?

Before, with my "old" version (I guess 2006-11-05) I could parse .rar files through SMB shares.
You say that not parsing .rar files was a bug, and should be fixed now ? on what release ?

commited as r10694 - 2007-11-08 11:44:26, but i'm quite sure 2006-11-05 should have had that bug too.

what do you mean not parse. does it break when you try to find what files exist in the archive or when you try to extract them?

depends on what version you had before, but there was a bug introduced quite a while back that is sorta fixed now again. the bug only affected compressed rar archives not stored.
